Simone Biles & Boyfriend Stacey Ervin Jr. Split After 3 Years of Dating

Simone Biles and Stacey Ervin Jr. have parted ways.

The 23-year-old Olympian confirmed that she and her 26-year-old gymnast boyfriend of three years ended their relationship in early March in a Vogue August 2020 cover story.

“It’s hard being young and having that long of a relationship and then ending it, but it was for the best,” she said in the interview.

Speculation arose back in March, when Stacey did not wish Simone a happy birthday on social media.

The two first made their relationship public back in 2017, when Simone posted a picture with the athlete on social media.

Prior to their split, Simone was preparing for the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which have been rescheduled to July 23, 2021 amid the pandemic. She has since returned to training in mid-May.
