Eyewitness Recalls Seeing Naya Rivera & Son Josey Board Their Rental Boat on Lake Piru

An eyewitness has revealed that they saw Naya Rivera and her four-year-old son Josey get on their rental boat at Lake Piru on Wednesday (July 8) just hours before she went missing.

“It was a beautiful day. It was comfortable weather and there were other pontoon boats in the water and even a water skier,” the eyewitness told ET. “She looked like any other mother with her son going out to enjoy the day.” The witness did not recall seeing Naya or her son again that day.

If you haven’t heard the tragic details of this story, the 33-year-old Glee star has been presumed dead after she went missing and has not been found as of yet. Her son Josey was found and the sheriff has provided an update on how he is doing.

Josey told authorities that his mom was swimming and never came back to the boat.

The sheriff has also revealed the steps they are taking to find Naya.
