Ryan Reynolds Offers Up Reward To Find Woman's Lost Teddy Bear

Ryan Reynolds is one of many celebs that have donated reward money in the search for a very special teddy bear.

The 43-year-old actor shared the story on his social media, offering a $5,000 reward for the safe return of a stuffed teddy bear toy that had a message from a Canadian woman’s mother who recently passed away.

“Vancouver: $5,000 to anyone who returns this bear to Mara. Zero questions asked. I think we all need this bear to come home,” Ryan shared on Twitter.

According to EW, Mara Soriano‘s black backpack was stolen during a recent move which contained the stuffed bear along with important documents, an iPad, and a Nintendo Switch.

While she doesn’t care about the electronics, the bear is the one thing she wants back.

The bear has an audio recording of Mara‘s mom, whose voice changed after she went into hospice care during her cancer battle.

“She said that she loved me and she was proud of me and that she’ll always be with me,” she shared.

Ryan‘s gesture was followed by other Canadian notables including Dan Levy, host George Strombolupolus and director Rawson Thurber.
