Trump Briefly Leaves Hospital to Drive-By & Greet His Supporters Amid Coronavirus Battle

President Donald Trump is waving to his supporters.

The 74-year-old President of the United States was seen briefly leaving Walter Reed military hospital for a drive-by greeting to his supporters gathered outside the medical center on Sunday afternoon (October 4) in Washington D.C.

In videos from the scene, Trump can be seen waving while wearing a mask in the backseat of a car to the flag-waving supporters outside.

“That’s Trump driving by his supporters outside Walter Reed military hospital. Trump drives by the press and supporters outside Walter Reed hospital,” AP’s Philip Crowther reported on Twitter.

Trump then released a video on his official account announcing he was going to visit the “patriots” lining the streets outside.

Trump‘s doctors admitted to omitting certain details about his initial health status amid his coronavirus battle earlier in the day.
