Adam Brody & Leighton Meester Are Calling Their Newborn Son This Right Now

Adam Brody is opening up about life with two young children in a recent interview.

The 40-year-old former O.C. star spoke to People about his newborn son with wife Leighton Meester and revealed the name they’re referring to him as.

“[We're calling him] Joe Biden until after the election,” Adam joked in the new issue.

Just recently, Adam and Leighton both have thrown their support behind the Democratic nominee.

Adam continued, revealing that being forced into quarantine when expecting a child, has its benefits.

“To be more or less quarantined during [this] time — the last trimester of pregnancy and the fourth trimester, if you will — has its benefits,” he shared. “You’ve gotten to be in a cocoon. The world outside is scary for the moment and also thrilling and hopeful.”

“For us, luckily in this time in our lives, this moment in our lives, this family growing by one has definitely had its magical moments and it’s had its benefits, for sure.”

Adam also revealed that quarantine has provided him more time with their daughter, Arlo, 5.

“[We have] made sure we get to spend a lot of time together as a family,” Adam says. “With my wife, certainly preoccupied more than usual these last six months, I’ve even gotten to spend extra time with [Arlo]. It’s been magical, and I’ll remember it for the rest of my life.”

Leighton and Adam welcomed their baby boy in September.
