Sofia Vergara Receives Her Final-Ever Award for 'Modern Family' at People's Choice Awards 2020

Sofia Vergara is red hot while appearing on stage at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 15) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 48-year-old actress won the Comedy TV Star of 2020 award for her work on the ABC series Modern Family.

“This is a very, very special award because, as you know, nine months ago we finished Modern Family forever,” she said while accepting the award. “So, this is the last award that I’m ever, ever gonna receive for the show, the show that changed my life. My career.”

“I want to thank you for making me a part of this fantastic show,” she added. “I really, really miss it. I love it. I had the best time in my life, and I appreciated every single moment I was there.”

Sofia gave a shout-out to a co-star before leaving the stage. She said, “I miss you, Ed O’Neill!”

Last week, Sofia documented her mammogram screening and she posted it on Instagram.
