Sofia Vergara Documents Her Mammogram Screening

Sofia Vergara is opening up with her fans and documenting an important process.

The 48-year-old Modern Family star posted a picture of herself in a mask at the doctor’s office on Election Day on Tuesday (November 3).

“And just to make today more stressful I went and got my mammogram. #allgood #dontforgetyours,” she captioned the selfie, reminding her fans to go and do the same thing.

The mammogram is recommended for women as early as 40 for early detection of certain cancers. According to the American Cancer Society, women between the ages of 45 and 54 should have a mammogram completed at least once a year.

A few weeks ago, she reunited with her Modern Family co-stars to celebrate Jesse Tyler Ferguson‘s 45th birthday. And her husband Joe Manganiello made headlines for his new look at the reunion!
