Singer Phoebe Bridgers Says Marilyn Manson Told Her About His Alleged 'Rape Room' When She Was a Teen
Singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers is speaking out about what happened when she visited Marilyn Manson’s home when she was a teenager.
The now 26-year-old entertainer posted a trigger warning, so please be aware before you continue reading.
“I went to Marilyn Manson’s house when I was a teenager with some friends. I was a big fan. He referred to a room in his house as the ‘r*pe room,’ I thought it was just his horrible frat boy sense of humor. I stopped being a fan. I stand with everyone who came forward,” Phoebe wrote.
She then added, “The label knew, management knew, the band knew. Distancing themselves now, pretending to be shocked and horrified is f*cking pathetic.”
Earlier this week, Evan Rachel Wood came forward as a survivor of Manson‘s alleged abuse and posted so many stories (with text receipts) from other women who had experiences with him.
The label knew, management knew, the band knew. Distancing themselves now, pretending to be shocked and horrified is fucking pathetic.
