'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist' Creator Would Support a Move to Peacock - Here's Why

The NBC series Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist will be wrapping its second season this weekend and we still don’t know if it will be getting a third season.

The network has not yet announced renewal or cancellation news for the fan-favorite show, but fans are still holding out hope for the show to return. (Here are all the shows that HAVE been renewed or canceled by NBC so far)

NBC even released its Fall 2021 schedule and the show is sadly not on it.

The show’s creator Austin Winsberg is opening up about the show possibly moving to Peacock and he explained how this could be a big positive for the series.

Austin told TVLine, “I know that that has been one of the discussions on the table, but I’ve heard nothing concrete.”

“If we had the ability to not be so beholden to the network runtime, I mean, there are scenes I have to cut every week or songs I have to cut for time,” Austin continued. “To able to have a little bit more creative freedom and flexibility there could be great.”

One of the stars of the show just shared a SUPER HOT shirtless photo to promote the season finale!
