Rebel Wilson Says She Wants to Smuggle COVID-19 Vaccines Into Australia

Rebel Wilson is ready to take the fight against COVID-19 into her own hands.

The actress posted a photo to her Instagram stories on Sunday (August 8) and she joked about trying to smuggle vaccines from America to Australia in the caption.

“Guys I’m ready to be a mule and smuggle vaccines from American to Australia,” she wrote alongside a selfie at the beach. You can check out the full picture at The Independent.

“I’ll start in Vegas and commandeer the Qantas planes if I have to. Just want everyone to get on with their lives in the new normal, and not have Australia be left behind,” she added.

Her post comes after Australia instated a series of lockdowns across a number of cities, including Sydney and Melbourne. Only 22 percent of Australians have been vaccinated so far.

Rebel is currently vacationing with friends in Italy and she recently was spotted grabbing dinner with them in Portofino.

Her latest project is the upcoming comedy Senior Year, which is about a cheerleader who wakes up from a 20-year coma and returns to high school to regain her status and claim the prom queen crown that eluded her. Check out the pics of her on set!
