Jake Gyllenhaal Runs Into Man Dressed As One of His Movie Characters in Venice

Jake Gyllenhaal wasn’t expecting to run into one of his movie characters while out in Venice, Italy this week, but he did!

The 40-year-old actor shared the encounter with his fans on Instagram as he arrived ahead of the 2021 Venice Film Festival.

In the Instagram post, Jake sports a confused face while looking off to a bridge that was off camera.

In the second image, you can see exactly what he was looking at – a man dressed up as Mysterio, his character from Spider-Man: Far From Home.

“Ran into an old friend in Venezia,” he captioned the pics.
