LAPD Comments on Chris Noth Sexual Assault Allegations

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department is speaking out in response to the sexual assault allegations made against Sex and the City actor Chris Noth.

It was alleged that Chris raped two women, one in Los Angeles and one in New York City, but he says both of the relationships were consensual.

The LAPD is involved in the case that happened in Los Angeles.

The spokesperson told People that they are “looking into the nature of the report” and trying to determine “when, where or even if a report was filed.

Chris‘ lawyer told the outlet, “No one from any law enforcement agency has contacted Chris or any of his representatives. Obviously if anyone does reach out, we will cooperate fully.”

A high-profile company has already cut ties with the actor amid the allegations.
