James Franco Gets Subpoena From Johnny Depp's Lawyers, To Be Deposed Over Amber Heard Relationship

James Franco has been served by Johnny Depp‘s lawyers.

The 43-year-old actor, who has been making headlines all week for a whole separate reason, is going to be deposed as part of Depp‘s $50 million defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

For those who don’t know, Amber and James worked together in the 2008 movie Pineapple Express and the 2015 movie The Adderall Diaries.

Page Six reports that James will be questioned “over whether he had an affair with Heard while she was still married to Depp.”

There is surveillance video showing that James got into an elevator with Amber just 24 hours after she had a “blowout fight” with Johnny, during which she has alleged that he gave her a black eye.

Johnny‘s lawyers will also “ask the actor if he saw the alleged bruises to Heard’s face.” They also want to know if he discussed the fight with her.

The most recent update in the lawsuit came back in August 2021.
