Andy Cohen Says He Does 'Not Recall' His Drunken New Year's Eve Rant About Mayor Bill de Blasio - Watch!

Andy Cohen is blaming it on the alcohol!

Ahead of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, the 53-year-old Watch What Happens Live host stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night (February 2) where he looked back at “getting smashed on CNN” while hosting the New Year’s Eve special with Anderson Cooper.

“I was laughing my ass off,” Jimmy said as they talked about Andy and Anderson‘s booze-filled special.

“We had so much fun,” Andy replied. “I told our friend, Howard Stern, I was like, ‘You know what? We had a blast on New Year’s Eve. I hope everyone did watching.’”

Andy added, “I gotta tell you something. It is super fun getting smashed on CNN and just raging on a soap box. There were endorphins I was releasing. I was like, this is good.”

Jimmy then brought up the drunken rant Andy went on about former New York City mayor Bill de Blasio, where Andy yelled, “Sayonara, sucka!” as the new mayor was sworn in at midnight.

“We got in the car after [the special ended] and I saw on Twitter the rant I did about de Blasio,” Andy recalled. “And I did not recall, though it was about 40 minutes earlier, saying ‘Sayonara, sucka’ to the outgoing mayor of New York. And I go, ‘Oh my god’ and Anderson said, ‘What?’ I said, ‘Sayonara, sucka.’ And he said, ‘Yes you did!’”

If you missed it, Andy recently admitted that he hates “one or two” Real Housewives stars.
