BTS Member J-Hope Tests Positive for COVID-19

J-Hope is the latest idol confirmed to have tested positive for coronavirus.

The 28-year-old BTS star tested positive for COVID-19, making him the sixth member of the band to do so since last year, via People.

According to Big Hit Music, J-Hope had a sore throat on Wednesday (March 23) and went to the hospital for a PCR test. It came back positive the next day. He is vaccinated and boosted and experiencing no other symptoms.

“Except for J-Hope, the members of BTS are not experiencing any particular symptoms at the moment. J-Hope is planning to take part in activities scheduled to take place next month once his at-home treatment concludes,” his agency confirmed in a statement. We are wishing him a speedy recovery.

At the same time, one of his bandmates is resting after undergoing surgery.
