Bob Odenkirk Sets New Series at AMC Ahead of 'Better Call Saul' Ending

Bob Odenkirk‘s AMC series Better Call Saul is going to end very soon, but his relationship with the network is not ending.

The 59-year-old actor, who just received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, will be starring in the new series Straight Man for AMC.

Deadline reports that the first season will be eight one-hour episodes.

Bob will play “William Henry Devereaux, Jr., the unlikely chairman of the English department in a badly underfunded college in the Pennsylvania rust belt.” The series is based on the novel by Richard Russo.

The sixth and final season of Better Call Saul recently premiered on AMC. Make sure to check out the one request Bob had for the ending of the series.
