Thandiwe Newton Hospitalized for Foot Injury

Thandiwe Newton is recovering after a foot injury.

The 49-year-old All the Old Knives actress posted on her Instagram Stories on Friday (April 22) that she was admitted to the emergency room because of her injury.

“In ER ’cause I got some stupid bit of glass in my foot. ouch though,” she said.

Thandiwe also shared a photo of a sweet moment in the hospital that showed a young man putting a blanket over a woman. She captioned the photo, “Witnessing tender moment between mother and son.”

Last week, Thandiwe stepped away from her movie Magic Mike’s Last Dance and while there have been rumors swirling about her departure from the film, nothing has been confirmed.

Thandiwe‘s husband Ol Parker has been spotted without his wedding ring after the news went public.
