'Deal or No Deal' Host Howie Mandel Reacts to Meghan Markle's Comments, Defends Her Against Backlash

Howie Mandel, the former host of Deal or No Deal, is opening up in response to the comments that former model Meghan Markle recently made about the show.

Meghan was one of the “briefcase girls” on the NBC game show and she recently explained why she decided to quit the show.

“I didn’t like feeling forced to be all looks and little substance, and that’s how it felt for me at the time being reduced to this specific archetype: the word ‘bimbo,’” Meghan said on her podcast. “I was surrounded by smart women on that stage with me, but that wasn’t the focus of why we were there and I would end up leaving with this pit in my stomach knowing that I was so much more than what was being objectified on the stage.”

Meghan‘s comments have led to some criticism from other people who worked on the show, including some of the former models.

Now, Howie is weighing in on the comments.
