Jennifer Lawrence No Longer Playing Elizabeth Holmes in Adam McKay's Film, Reason Why Revealed (& It Has to Do with Amanda Seyfried!)

In a discussion with the New York Times, Jennifer confirmed why she had officially dropped out of the film.

She made the decision to drop out of the film after watching Amanda Seyfried‘s performance as Holmes in Hulu’s The Dropout.

“I thought she was terrific. I was like, ‘Yeah, we don’t need to redo that.’ She did it,” Jennifer added.

Amanda won an Emmy for her performance as Elizabeth Holmes. Amanda had some fierce competition in her category – she was nominated alongside Julia Garner (Inventing Anna), Margaret Qualley (Maid), Sarah Paulson (Impeachment: American Crime Story), Lily James (Pam & Tommy), and Toni Collette (The Staircase).
