Roslyn Singleton, 'America's Got Talent' & 'Ellen' Star, Dies at 39

Roslyn Singleton has sadly passed away.

The young woman, who first went viral years ago after appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and America’s Got Talent, died at the age of 39 following her battle with brain cancer, her husband Ray confirmed on social media.

“Our wife earned her wings yesterday while peacefully sleeping right at home where she wanted to be,” he wrote.

Roslyn went viral after Ray uploaded a clip of himself singing to her before she went into surgery for her brain cancer. They went on to appear on Ellen‘s show in 2020.

She fought cancer since 2013, and was in remission for 6 years before another brain tumor was discovered.

Ray went on to audition for America’s Got Talent the next year with an emotional performance. The couple was also featured in the documentary series Black Love earlier this year, which told their story as a couple.
