BTS Member Jin Will Enlist In South Korean Army In December (Report)
According to a report, BTS member Jin will begin his mandatory enlistment in the South Korean army next month.
If you weren’t aware, most South Korean men between the ages of 18 and 28 is required by law to complete at least 18 months of military service. However, a new law enabled celebs such as pop stars to postpone their service to the age of 30.
Jin is set to turn 30 on December 4 and is expected to enlist shortly therafter.

He is expected to enlist and begin basic training on December 13, according to CNN. If the report is correct, he will begin at the Yeoncheon army base in the northern Gyeonggi province.
Although he has not confirmed the rumors directly, Jin did comment on them in a statement shared with the BTS ARMY [the group's fans] on Weverse.
“Reports have come out against my will, but our ARMYs, should not come to the training center,” he wrote, according to the outlet. “It could be dangerous because the place will be crowded with many people besides me who are coming. ARMY, I love you.”
After enlistment, Jin can expect to undergo five weeks of basic training before the next steps of training will begin.
BTS has previously spoken about plans to enlist and complete their mandatory service.
