On Thursday (December 15), ABC released the first promo for the upcoming 27th season of the hit romance competition series with lead Zach Shallcross.

In the behind-the-scenes promo, cameras follow Zach, 26, preparing for the show while on set of a glitzy photo shoot where he sniffs a rose, winks for the camera, and laughs.

Speaking to the camera, Zach says, “I’m ready. Are you?”

Zach was a contestant on the latest season of The Bachelorette with dual leads Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia. He chose to pursue Rachel, though he later self-eliminated from the series.

Zach‘s season of The Bachelor premieres on ABC on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 8pm ET.
