UFC's Dana White & Wife Anne Involved In New Year's Eve Altercation in Cabo

Dana White and his wife, Anne, were involved in an altercation during New Year’s Eve celebrations in Cabo, Mexico.

According to a report from TMZ, the UFC President and Anne‘s fight latest less than a few minutes. However, Dana opened up about the events of the evening and revealed his regrets.

While ringing in the new year with some friends at the El Squid Roe nightclub, the fight between Dana and Anne occurred just moments after midnight.

Onlookers revealed that the long-time married couple had exchanged a few slaps in the face after Anne slapped him after he leaned over to say something to her. Dana then slapped back. Friends had to pull them apart.

Dana admitted that they both had been drinking that night and it was a factor in their altercation.

“You’ve heard me say for years, ‘There’s never ever an excuse for a guy to put his hands on a woman,’ and now here I am on TMZ talking about it,” Dana said in a statement to the site, adding that he’s embarrassed by the “horrible” incident.

Dana also says that while he and Anne are “good,” they have discussed the fight with their three children.

“Dana and I have been married for almost 30 years. To say this is out of character for him is an understatement — nothing like this has ever happened before,” Anne said in her own statement. “Unfortunately, we were both drinking too much on New Year’s Eve and things got out of control, on both sides. We’ve talked this through as a family and apologized to each other. I just hope people will respect our privacy for the sake of our kids.”
