Seth Rudetsky, who is the host of multiple shows on SiriusXM’s On Broadway channel, helped Craig select the song.

“I found the text exchange between me and Craig Mazin for #TheLastOfUs song recommendation,” Seth tweeted. “So glad people are learning what a stunning song it [is].”

In the text messages, Seth said, “My fave devastating song is ‘Long Long Time.’ Linda Ronstadt. Genderless.”

Craig replied that he was “listening” and then added, “OH MY GOD this song… I didn’t know that’s what it was called. BRINGING ME BACK TO CHILDHOOD. Ooooh love this.”

Craig added, “There is only one Seth Rudetsky. Nailed it. BRAVA. Also I miss you, dummy. Next year in Jerusalem. Seriously… also… THANK YOU. This is wonderful.”
