“Producers attempted to smooth things out, and the decision was made to let Mando go from the series and recast the role,” the outlet reports. The incident reportedly involved a clash with a co-star.

The upcoming series “revolves around longtime Philly friends and delinquents who pose as DEA agents to rob an unknown house in the countryside, only to have their small-time grift become a life-and-death enterprise, as they unwittingly reveal and unravel the biggest hidden narcotics corridor on the Eastern seaboard.”

Oscar nominee Brian Tyree Henry stars in the series and Michael was set to play his good-hearted friend Manny Cespedes, “who he first met when they did time together in the youth authority.”
