Sam Heughan Confirms Filming for 'Outlander' Season 7 Has Wrapped! Cast Members Share New Pics

Sam Heughan and the rest of the cast of Outlander have some very exciting news – filming has wrapped on the seventh season of the show.

The 42-year-old star hopped on social media on Friday (February 24) to share a new photo of himself with co-star Caitriona Balfe.

In it, they’re posing with a clapperboard that reads “That’s a wrap.”

Sam paired the cute new pic with a message: “220 shooting days, a whole year of Outlander. THANK YOU to our amazing crew who have worked so hard and to our brilliant fans…”

He added that they “CANNOT WAIT’ for the next season, too. Earlier this year it was confirmed that Outlander would come to a close with its eighth season.
