Julia Fox Speaks Out After Brother's Arrest, Says Dad Was Not Involved

Julia Fox is breaking her silence on the arrests of her brother and father.

Last week, it was revealed that the 33-year-old model’s brother Christopher Fox was arrested and charged for allegedly running a ghost gun peddling operation in New York City. Their father Thomas Fox was also arrested as part of the sting, but he was subsequently released.

Prosecutors allege Christopher made $345,000 in illicit gun sales between April 2020 and January 2023 using CashApp. Police also found supplies to make bombs and evidence of narcotics manufacturing.

On Thursday (March 16), Julia took to TikTok to address the situation.

“My dad was released that night. It was determined that he had no involvement and didn’t really know what was going on,” Julia shared. “And also the media did sensationalize it a bit.”

“I know my brother, and I’ve always known him to be the sweetest, most gentle guy, soft-spoken. He loves animals, loves to plant flowers, loves nature,” Julia added. “But I will say, both my brother and I have a lot of trauma.”

She continued, “The difference [between us] is I’m scrappy, I’m a fighter. I was able to release a lot of that rage. Whereas Christopher, he internalized it.”

Julia went on to say that the “silver lining” to this situation is that Christopher is “finally going to get the help that I’ve been trying to get him for so long.”

While she didn’t want to address the charges directly in fear of impacting the case, Julia concluded her video, saying, “I will say that I’m just, you know, embarrassed.”

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Julia and her parents co-signed Christopher‘s $450,000 bail bond.
