Michael Cohen, who served as Trump‘s attorney at the time, had previously pleaded guilty to breaking campaign finance laws by making hush money payments. He was sentenced to 13 months in prison and an additional 1.5 years of home confinement. Cohen has stated that Trump reimbursed him for the $130,000 payment and an additional $150,000 given to another woman. It is anticipated that Cohen will testify in the trial.

3. Inside the courtroom, Trump‘s indictment will be unsealed and he’ll be arraigned. It’s expected that he will be released on his own recognizance.
4. Trump will then leave the courtroom and go through the back hallways again to exit the building.
5. At the end of the day, Trump is expected to fly back to Florida and given a speech at Mar-a-Lago.
