Yasmine Al-Bustami has quickly become one of the fan favorites on NCIS: Hawai’i.

However, that also means she’s missed even more when she doesn’t appear on an episode of the hit CBS series.

Late last year, it was announced that Yasmine would actually not be in a handful of episodes due to another filming commitment. It was written into the series that her character, Lucy Tara, was assigned as the Agent Afloat for that time.

So, where is she now?

It turns out that Yasmine was filming another project on the mainland during the time this episode was shooting in Hawai’i.

She told TV Line recently that during her times away she was “able to get back to the mainland, which was really nice for me, just to spend some time with my friends and my family and do some travels, and to fulfill some work obligations.”

Yasmine also stars in The Chosen.

“I’m happy that I was able to get some time to work with those guys also, because I love those guys. Any time that it works out, I jump on it, for sure,” she shared.

Yasmine‘s Lucy wasn’t featured in a few recent episodes. However, fans don’t have to worry, as she will be in the next!
