Kate Middleton Shares Rare Comments About Princess Diana, Reveals Their Connection

Princess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton) is sharing some rare comments about her late mother-in-law Princess Diana.

On Thursday (April 27), the 41-year-old Princess of Wales stepped out for a royal visit in Wales where she met with royal watchers.

During her outing, Kate revealed her special connection to Princess Diana.

Kate revealed to a fan that she and Princess Diana have the exact same ring size, so husband Prince William didn’t have to alter his late mom’s blue sapphire ring when he proposed to Kate back in 2010.

“It’s the same ring,” Kate said, according to E! News. “And it’s exactly the same size.”

Kate – who never got to meet Princess Diana before her death in 1997 – noted that the ring is one of her most cherished possessions.

“It is very special,” Kate said. “What an honor to be able to wear it.”

Kate also said that Princess Diana would have been a “brilliant grandmother” to her three kids – Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 5.

“We miss her everyday,” Kate added.

Kate recently teased what she’ll be wearing to King Charles‘ coronation next weekend.
