According to Deadline, the movie’s script has been in the works for long enough that it won’t be held up by the current writers strike in Hollywood. It will reportedly draw comparisons to the likes of previous Stephen King adaptations Stand By Me, The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.

Tom is set to star in the project as Chuck, and Mark will play a character named Albie.

Earlier this year, we learned that Tom is set to return for the second season of The Night Manager for Amazon Prime Video and the BBC. We’re also supposed to see him in action again as his MCU character Loki in the very near future.

Did you see that another MCU joked about Mark being his father last year?
