Awkwafina Speaks Out About the 'Crazy Rich Asians' Sequel

Awkwafina is opening up about Crazy Rich Asians!

The 34-year-old star, who voices Scuttle in the live-action The Little Mermaid, made an appearance on Good Morning America to discuss the new movie.

During her appearance, Awkwafina was asked about the status of the follow-up to the hit 2018 film.

“I know. That’s what I’m told…where is it?” she said when told she has to be a part of the sequel.

“I mean, I do believe…when? I have no idea. I think it’s being hashed out,” she continued.

“It would be so meaningful. They’re like my family at this point. It’s been so long. We’d love to all get back together.”
