Haim Clap Back at Claims They Don't Play Their Own Instruments

If you’re under the impression that Haim are faking playing their own instruments, you’re very wrong.

The real-life sisters and band – Este, Danielle and Alana – responded to the rumors that they don’t actually know how to play their guitars and drums.

Over the weekend, Haim performed at the 2023 Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City, and following their performance, the band noticed one concert-goer questioning their instrument skills.

“Is it me or is that bassist just acting?” Lakeshore Records’ A&R director Eric Craig apparently asked in the comments section of an Instagram video, via NME.

The band’s account then responded, “lol I can’t believe this s— is STILL happening.”

Este, whom Eric was referring to in the comment, then took to the band’s Instagram Stories about the accusation.

“I’m so used to seeing this s*** on every f***ing video of us playing ever, but I’m so over it. Don’t ever say we don’t play our f***ing instruments,” she wrote.
