Conor McGregor Says It Was a Skit That Sent the Miami Heat Mascot to the ER, Announces Fiancée Is Expecting Fourth Child

Conor McGregor was at game four of the NBA finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat and appeared on court where he punched Burnie the mascot when they got into a fight during the halftime show.

While everything seemed okay after the mascot was dragged off the court by Heat staff, the mascot reportedly had to be sent to the ER shortly afterwards.

The 34-year-old UFC superstar maintained that everything was fine and that everything, including the punches, was part of the skit.

“That was part of the skit. We were backstage, all is well. It was just part of the show,” Conor told Live with Kelly and Mark. “It blew up, you know I recently made my acting debut, and I’m not a bad actor.”

“We got the next one on the way, a couple more weeks we’ll be able to find out what the sex is of the baby and we’re very excited back home,” Conor said. “A lot of great things happening, we’re very blessed. Everyday we smile up to God and thank God.”

Conor is currently coaching the newcomers on The Ultimate Fighter and is expected to fight Michael Chandler.

Conor‘s rise to the top has been filled with controversy and questions which featured in a four-part Netflix documentary.
