Michael Douglas Honors 'The Kominsky Method' Co-Star Alan Arkin After His Death

Michael Douglas is remembering Alan Arkin.

On Friday morning (June 30), Alan‘s three sons announced that their dad had passed away at the age of 89.

Several hours later, Michael, 78, took to social media to pay tribute to Alan, whom he starred alongside on Netflix’s The Kominsky Method.

“Today we lost a wonderful actor whose intelligence, sense of comedy and consummate professionalism over the past 70 years has left an indelible mark on our industry,” Michael wrote on Instagram along with a photo of him and Alan.

“My experience of working with Alan were some of my most memorable,” Michael continued. “He will be deeply missed. Sincere condolences to his wife, Suzanne, and his family.”

For his role on The Kominsky Method, Alan was nominated for two Emmys, two Golden Globes, and four SAG awards.
