Madonna Says 'It's Great to Be Alive' While Celebrating 65th Birthday After Hospitalization

Madonna is celebrating her 65th birthday!

On Friday (August 18), the “Like A Prayer” entertainer took to Instagram to share a bunch of videos and photos while celebrating her birthday with her kids and friends.

In the post, Madonna reflected on her recent hospitalization for a serious bacterial infection.

Madonna officially turned 65 on August 16.

Earlier this summer, Madonna was rushed to the hospital due to a serious bacterial infection, forcing her to postpone her Celebration Tour. After several days in the hospital, she was released and has been recovering well.

Madonna recently teased when she will be announcing the new dates for her Celebration Tour.
