Natalie Portman & Julianne Moore's 'May December' Will Kickstart New York Film Festival 2023

Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore‘s new movie May December is set to introduce the 2023 New York Film Festival later this month!

According to a new report by Variety, the film, which also stars Charles Melton and Cory Michael Smith, will be the first to premiere during the annual festival this year.

The outlet noted that the cast is “expected to attend in person” amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes. If you were unaware, actors have received permission from the union to continue promoting certain movies as most of Hollywood has ground down to a standstill.

May December will premiere at the festival on September 29 at Alice Tully Hull.

The movie got rave reviews at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival back in May. Natalie and Julianne were both in attendance as was celebrity producer Will Ferrell.

The project was first announced in June 2021 and signifies the sixth collaboration between Natalie and Julianne.

May December will hit theaters on November 17 and head to Netflix on December 1.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Julianne was set to link up with another actress on an exciting project.
