Demi Lovato Speaks About Taylor Swift's MTV VMAs 2023 Dancing After Past Feud

Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift no longer seem to have “Bad Blood.”

The 31-year-old “Sorry Not Sorry” singer spoke out after the 33-year-old “Lover” superstar was seen enjoying her performance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday (September 12) in New Jersey, where she performed a rock medley of her hits.

Throughout the performance, Taylor was seen dancing and singing along to Demi‘s songs, and Demi later reposted several of those videos on social media.

When one fan shared a video of Taylor dancing to “Cool for the Summer,” Demi replied to the post on X (formerly Twitter) with a series of heart-covered smiley faces.

She also addressed the reaction on an Instagram Live, via ET.

“I was really proud of it. I’m really happy with it and it was nice to see everybody enjoying it in the audience, dancing to it, Kelsea Ballerini and Taylor Swift, seeing them dance to that made my heart warm. That was really nice,” she reflected.

In 2016, Demi Lovato made several comments about Taylor‘s “squad” not having “normal bodies” after previously insulting her lack of political activism. She was also managed by Scooter Braun, who famously owns the rights to Taylor‘s music, resulting in the re-recorded albums.
