'Ted Lasso' Star Brendan Hunt & Fiancee Shannon Nelson Expecting Baby No. 2

Brendan Hunt is having another baby!

In a new interview with Us Weekly, the 51-year-old Ted Lasso actor announced that he and fiancee Shannon Nelson are expecting their second child together.

When asked how wedding plans are going, Brendan replied, “Not very much at all, because we are pregnant again.”

Brendan first announced that he and Shannon were engaged back in June. The two are already parents to 2-year-old son Sean.

“I’m excited,” Brendan continued, adding that their wedding plans are currently on pause.

“Shannon has decided she basically doesn’t want to have any wedding pictures of her while she’s pregnant,” Brendan explained. “And we’ve both been married before, so we’re not full of wonder of what’s it going to be like.”

He added, “We wanted to do it properly, so we’ll take our time. But it probably won’t be until kid No. 2 is here.”

In another interview, Brendan teased the possibility of more Ted Lasso in the future.
