“I didn’t bring much. I just brought grumpiness, curmudgeonly sort of, I based him on a angry little Scotsman I once knew…his name was Archie. He had red hair and no one liked him much poor little Archie, but bossy. So it’s him really, and a little bit of some schoolteachers I knew.

Timothée, on how he plans to celebrate his upcoming birthday:

“I don’t know. This movie will be freshly out. I usually spend it with my family, my parents. Last year I had like eight people over…I had a bowling party once.”

Hugh, on his recurring nightmare:

“Well, my recurring nightmare was that I was really good friends with the Queen and we used to just listen to records together, but always I ended up for some reason on the loo in the middle of a big room with the Queen and there was no screen or door or anything like that.”

“I had a strange dream about an alien the other night. That’s rare for me. It was a creepy alien dream.”
