1. Jennifer Lawrence got a massive pay increase between the first and second movies

E News reported that Jennifer‘s pay went up exponentially after the success of the first movie. She was reportedly only paid $500,000 for The Hunger Games. She got a $9.5 million raise for Catching Fire, which landed her a $10 million pay day. Parade reported that her pay increased even more for the final two movies. They noted that she made $40 million.

It goes without saying that she’s one of the wealthiest stars in the franchise.

2. Jennifer Lawrence gave Josh Hutcherson a concussion while filming the first movie

Years after the fact, Josh revealed that Jennifer accidentally concussed him while they were filming the first movie.

“She was being a real show-off, thinking that she was Jackie Chan or something,” he told Yahoo Entertainment. “[She was] throwing these air kicks and was like, ‘Josh, I can kick over your head!’ And then crack! She clipped me in the temple. … I don’t really remember, because I got knocked out.”

He added that Jennifer felt really bad: “She was crying. She felt terrible. I woke up with her [crying], laying over me.”
