Season 44 of Survivor started off big with a jam-packed two hour episode.

The opening episode showed a rough start for production with a total of three contestants needing medical help throughout the premiere. This is a rarity in Survivor.

One contestant’s medical status got so dire, he was forced to quit the show under doctor’s orders to be medically treated off site.

In a tribal council, another player was sent home in an elimination.
