Lorde gets sentimental on stage as she performs at the 2016 BRIT Awards held at the O2 Arena on Wednesday (February 24) in London, England.

The 19-year-old singer performed David Bowie’s song “Life on Mars” as a tribute to the late performer.

When David passed away in January, Lorde took to Facebook to share her experience meeting him for the first time, writing, “I realized everything I’d ever done, or would do from then on, would be done like maybe he was watching. I realized I was proud of my spiky strangeness because he had been proud of his.”

The Weeknd performs “The Hills” at the 2016 BRIT Awards held at the O2 Arena on Wednesday (February 24) in London, England.

The 26-year-old musician was nominated for International Male Solo Artist at the awards event.

The Weeknd performed in front of a huge set of screens that displayed TV static in the background.

After Lauryn Hill’s performance with The Weeknd at the 2016 Grammys was canceled, the duo took the stage at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform “In the Night” together earlier in the week.

Adele takes over the stage with her amazing vocals at the 2016 BRIT Awards held at the O2 Arena on Wednesday (February 24) in London, England.

The 27-year-old superstar closed out the show with a performance of “When We Were Young” at the live televised show.

Adele cries her eyes out while accepting the award for Global Success at the 2016 BRIT Awards held at the O2 Arena on Wednesday (February 24) in London, England.

“I bet you’re all f–king bored of me,” the 27-year-old singer said upon taking the stage to accept her third award of the night. The curse ended up making its way onto the live broadcast!

“I said it earlier, but to come back… I got really lost for a while. I didn’t know if I’d ever come back and for you all to be so kind to me,” Adele added while crying.

Little Mix charge the stage during their performance at the 2016 BRIT Awards at The O2 Arena on Wednesday night (February 24) in London, England.

The ladies — Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock — twisted their hit “Black Magic” for a tribal feel at the annual show.
