Ariana Grande was supposed to attend the 2018 Brit Awards, airing later today, to do a special tribute to the victims of the Manchester terrorist attack that tragically took the lives of 22 people last year.

However, we’ve heard that the 24-year-old entertainer will no longer be performing. A source tell us that Ariana fell ill, and despite this, was still going to go and perform. However, she was ordered by her doctors not to fly to the London, England-based awards show due to her illness.

There’s been no official word just yet as to who will be replacing Ariana in the Manchester tribute, though there are rumors that Liam Gallagher will be stepping in.

Liam Payne is all smiles as he arrives at the 2018 Brit Awards Nominations Photocall on Saturday (January 13) in London, England.

The 24-year-old singer kept things cool in a tan jacket, burgundy sweatpants, and grey sneakers for the event.

During the event, Liam hit the stage for a performance before the nominations were announced.

Liam has been nominated for British Single and British Artist Video of the Year for his song “Strip That Down.”

After the show, Liam took to Twitter to share a video thanking the Brit Awards for the nominations and telling fans to vote!

The full list of nominees for the 2018 BRIT Awards has been revealed!

The nominations were announced on Saturday (January 13) during The BRITs Are Coming on Britain’s ITV.

Ed Sheeran and Dua Lipa lead the nominations – Ed has four, and Dua earned five.

Other nominees include Liam Payne Little Mix, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Calvin Harris, Drake, Pink, and more.
