A big part of A Star is Born has come to life!

A billboard has surprisingly popped up on Thursday (January 3) – and it’s the exact same billboard that was used in the film.

The billboard features Lady Gaga‘s character Ally and is located next to the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood – which also happens to be the same spot where it is in the movie!

A Star is Born has been nominated for five awards at this weekend’s 2019 Golden Globes – including Best Drama Picture, Best Actor & Best Director for Bradley Cooper, and Best Actress for Gaga.

Every year, film critic groups around the country announce their own picks for the top movies of the year and the National Board of Review‘s choices are here!

Green Book was named the Best Film of 2018 and another big winner is A Star Is Born, which was awarded Best Director for Bradley Cooper, Best Actress for Lady Gaga, and Best Supporting Actor for Sam Elliott.

Green Book‘s Viggo Mortensen won the Best Actor award and If Beale Street Could Talk‘s Regina King won Best Supporting Actress.

The cast of Crazy Rich Asians is set to be honored with the Best Ensemble award and you can expect many more stars to be in attendance as well.

The National Board of Review also revealed their Top 10 Films of the year.

Oscar-nominated cinematographer Matthew Libatique, known for his work on 2010′s Black Swan and 2018′s A Star Is Born, has been arrested in Poland for alleged assault, the AP reports.

Apparently the 50-year-old cinematographer assaulted paramedics and police after they were called to a hotel, “where he had been seen staggering.”

The alleged assault occurred on Tuesday (November 13) in the city of Bydgoszcz, where he was attending the Camerimage international film festival.

“The patient suddenly became aggressive toward medical rescuers, used offensive words and hit the head of the emergency medical team,” Krzysztof Wisniewski, an emergency official, said in a statement.

He could face up to three years in prison for allegedly assaulting public officials. Apparently, a paramedic broke a tooth and suffered other injuries in the scuffle.

Barbra Streisand admitted that she still hasn’t seen the full 2018 version of A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.

“I haven’t seen it completed. Bradley did show me the opening. I was surprised by how similar it was to my version,” Barbra told the New York Times in a recent interview. “I loved how he used the drag bar. I thought that was new and interesting. What I’ve seen of the film I really liked.”

If you don’t know, Barbra starred in the 1976 version of A Star Is Born and won an Oscar for Best Music for her song “Evergreen.”

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are staying on top!

The A Star Is Born soundtrack is officially spending its third consecutive week at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 as of Sunday (October 28), the official chart company reported.

The album moved 109,000 equivalent album units in its third week. Of that, 61,000 were traditional album sales. It’s also now the first soundtrack to spend its first three weeks at No. 1 in more than a decade since High School Musical 2 in 2007! Even more impressive, the last film soundtrack to stay at No. 1 for three weeks was all the way back in 2003 with Bad Boys II.

This is also now Gaga‘s longest-running No. 1 album, surpassing 2011′s Born This Way. Congratulations!

Derek Hough is a man of many talents. In addition to singing and acting, he’s also a talented singer and musician, which he’s showing off in this new video!

The 33-year-old entertainer serenaded his girlfriend Hayley Erbert with a rendition of the song “Shallow” from A Star Is Born. The song just hit number five on the Billboard Hot 100.

Derek sang Bradley Cooper‘s verse from the song while strumming the chords on his guitar, all while Hayley prepared a meal for them.

The A Star Is Born soundtrack has officially debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 as of Sunday (October 14), according to the official chart company.

The album moved 231,000 equivalent album units in its first week, with 162,000 of those in album sales.

This mark’s Gaga‘s fifth No. 1 record, and also her fifth No. 1 record of this decade – the most among women.

It’s also the biggest week for a soundtrack since 2015′s Fifty Shades of Grey. It’s now the third biggest-selling soundtrack of 2018 after just one week, and the third No. 1 soundtrack of 2018.
