A Star Is Born is back on top!

The Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper soundtrack returned to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 for a fourth nonconsecutive week, the official chart company announced on Sunday (March 3).

The album moved 128,000 equivalent album units in the past week, getting a huge boost thanks largely to its Best Original Song win at the 2019 Academy Awards, as well as its return to theaters for a special “Encore” version of the film. Gaga and Bradley also performed the track in a highly buzzed-about performance during the evening’s ceremony.

A Star Is Born now has the most weeks atop the chart for any soundtrack since the Frozen soundtrack’s 13 nonconsecutive week run in 2014.

A Star Is Born is coming back to theaters!

The popular 2018 film, which was just up for several Academy Awards and brought in over $425 million at the box office, will return to theaters with an “Encore” version on Friday (March 1).

The special edition of the film will include performances of songs like “Black Eyes,” “Alibi” and Gaga’s (as Ally) a cappella performance of “Shallow.”

There will also be footage of Gaga singing “Is That Alright?” in the wedding sequence, as well as Bradley Cooper (as Jack) singing “Too Far Gone.”

In addition, there’s also a scene with Jack and Ally writing a new song together, entitled “Clover.”

Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are getting ready for the post-Oscars episode of Live! with Kelly & Ryan and they did a spoof of the A Star Is Born trailer to promote the upcoming show!

The video is practically a shot-for-shot recreation of the original trailer for the movie and it features Kelly as Ally and Ryan as Jackson Maine.

While they use Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper‘s vocals for most of the moments, Kelly does belt out those “ahhhs” in the pivotal “Shallow” scene.

Nick Jonas is getting ready for the Oscars by sharing his cover of the nominated song “Shallow” from the movie A Star is Born.

The song was sung by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper in the movie and it has already won awards at the Grammys, the Golden Globes, and the Critics’ Choice Awards.

“In honor of Oscar weekend… such a beautiful song,” Nick captioned the video on his Instagram account. He also added that his wife Priyanka Chopra was the videographer.

A new billboard promoting Amy Schumer‘s upcoming Netflix special was spotted on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles and it jokingly is copying the Ally billboard from A Star is Born!

In the movie, Lady Gaga‘s character Ally looks at her billboard while on the balcony of her hotel room at the Chateau Marmont.

The billboard from the movie is currently up in the same spot as where it’s seen in the movie.

“There could be 100 billboards on Sunset Boulevard and 99 don’t promote @amyschumer’s new stand-up special — but one does,” the Netflix account tweeted.

Kelly Clarkson is known for performing amazing cover songs at nearly all of her shows on tour and she just did an awesome version of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper‘s song “Shallow” from A Star Is Born!

The 36-year-old singer performed the song during her “A Minute and a Glass of Wine” segment on her Meaning of Life Tour stop on Friday (February 15) in Green Bay, Wisc.

Kelly streams a part of her concert live on Facebook each night on the tour and this moment was included in it!

Before singing “Shallow,” Kelly praised Gaga as one of the nicest people in the music industry and she opened up about meeting her for the first time years ago.

Sean Penn will be marking down A Star Is Born and Bradley Cooper on his Oscars ballot later this month!

The 58-year-old actor, who is a two-time Oscar winner, wrote an op-ed article for Deadline in which he explains why Bradley is deserving of an Academy Award.

“There are many really good films and performances nominated this year. There are also many perishable trend-pieces that, win or lose, will be lost to memory. In a fair world, A Star is Born sweeps the awards,” Sean wrote in his piece. “It’s just such a gift. Clear minds and hearts cannot possibly deny it its due. It’s over and over again one of my favorite films of all time, harkening back to the essential filmmaking of Hal Ashby.”

Sean ended the article by saying, “A Star is Born is simply everything that movies should be. If we honor anything, this should be it.”

A Star Is Born is up for eight Oscars, including Best Picture and acting nods for Bradley, Lady Gaga, and Sam Elliott.
