On Tuesday (May 9), showrunner Michael Patrick King confirmed that 77-year-old Emmy-winning actress will be reprising her role from Sex & the City for season two of the HBO Max series.

HBO Max is teasing Season 2 of And Just Like That!
The second season of the Sex and the City reboot series will premiere this June on the newly revamped Max.
“No matter what life hands you, you can always count on your closest friends to be there,” Sarah Jessica Parker teases as Carrie Bradshaw, along with appearances by Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Che (Sara Ramírez), her podcast producer, Franklin (Ivan Hernandez) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis).
“And just like that. I realized some things are better left in the past. But maybe … not everything, she goes on to say, revealing Carrie’s ex-boyfriend Aidan (John Corbett) appearing on her stoop.
A Grammy Award-winning superstar is also set to make a cameo in the series, as confirmed from on-set photos.

Sarah Jessica Parker and John Corbett are hard at work on season two of And Just Like That.
The 57-year-old actress and the 61-year-old actor kept close as they filmed a few scenes for the upcoming second season of the HBO Max series on Monday afternoon (March 6) on Gramercy Park West in New York City.

For their time on set, SJP wore a black cardigan over a pink and black floral-print dress paired with cream-colored beret while a dark navy sweater and navy pants.
While filming scenes back in November 2022, SJP was seen re-wearing Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic wedding dress.
This entertainer recently teased an appearance on season two of And Just Like That!
As of right now, HBO Max has not announced the premiere date for season two.

The Carrie and Aidan actors were spotted filming a scene at Coney Island on Tuesday (February 21) in New York City.
The co-stars were joined for the scene by David Eigenberg and Niall Cunningham, who play father-and-son Steve Brady and Brady Hobbes.
Season two of the Sex and the City sequel series is currently being filmed and will likely be released on HBO Max later this year.
Big news was just announced about one of John‘s other projects in the works.

Carrie and Aidan are back together in these photos from set that were taken on Thursday night (February 9) in New York City.
While the two actors were only seen having a conversation in these paparazzi photos, the show’s official social media account has shared photos of them sharing a passionate kiss. You can also see some more views in the gallery.
“And just like that Carrie is back on her tip toes,” the page said.
SJP shared the pics and said, “This. Is. Not. A. Drill.”
Gwyneth Paltrow commented, “NO WAYYYYYY.” Andy Cohen said, “I’m freaking.” Lena Waithe wrote, “Please don’t play with our emotions like this on a Thursday.” Fans everywhere are freaking out!
The new photos comes about four weeks after the two actors reunited for the new season.
