Natalie Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied took a break from parent duties while stepping out for a lunch date!

The 35-year-old actress and the 39-year-old choreographer were spotted enjoying their meal at Tacos Tu Madre on Thursday (April 13) in Los Feliz, Calif.

Missing from the outing was their almost two-month-old daughter Amalia, whom Natalie gave birth to just days before the 2017 Oscars.

There’s a good reason why Natalie Portman was unable to attend the 2017 Oscars – she had given birth to her second child just days earlier!

The 35-year-old actress and her husband Benjamin Millepied welcomed their daughter Amalia on February 22, four days before the big show.

“Natalie Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied welcomed a baby girl, Amalia Millepied, on February 22. Mother and baby are happy and healthy,” a rep for the actress told JustJared.com.

Natalie was nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars for her work in the movie Jackie, but the award went to La La Land‘s Emma Stone.

The 35-year-old actress is nominated this evening for her work in Jackie. She brought her husband Benjamin Millepied on the red carpet at the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (January 29) in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old pregnant actress was spotted heading out to lunch with her husband Benjamin Millepied on Tuesday (January 3) in Los Angeles.

A few days earlier, Natalie sent out a sweet new year’s greeting to her fans through Dior Makeup’s Instagram account.

“Hi everyone…I’m in LA and just wanted to take some time to wish you all a happy new year!” Natalie said.

The 35-year-old pregnant actress was honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her performance in Jackie during the 2017 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards Gala held at the Palm Springs Convention Center on Monday (January 2) Palm Springs, Calif.

She showed off her baby bump on the red carpet with her husband Benjamin Millepied, Tom Hanks, and filmmaker Pablo Larrain.

Also in attendance were film stars Annette Bening and her husband Warren Beatty.

Natalie has also recently been nominated for Best Actress for her role in Jackie at the upcoming SAG Awards as well as for Best Actress at the Golden Globes.

Natalie Portman is up for Golden Globe and she couldn’t be more thankful!

The 35-year-old actress, who received the nod for her film Jackie, released a statement expressing her gratitude.

“I’m so honored to be recognized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. I had such a beautiful experience making this film with the most wonderful cast and crew, and particularly with our great director, Pablo Larrain, that it feels like icing on the cake to be nominated,” she explained.

Natalie is already a two-time Golden Globe winner for her roles in Closer and Black Swan.
