The cast of Mr. Robot is getting ready for the season two premiere this week!

In a new interview, Portia says viewers will see a change in her character Angela this year.

“She wants to change corporate America from within,” Portia told Vanity Fair. “Here’s this girl that you think is maybe going to be compromised by the system, but at the same time, out of nowhere, she’s very unpredictable with her behavior. . . . In the beginning [of the show], she’s very attached to this idea of herself: ‘I want to be taken seriously. I’m going to have this boyfriend.’ This idea of this more perfect way of living.”

The actors were joined by their Mr. Robot co-stars Carly Chaikin and Vaishnavi Sharma for the photo shoot.

Rami was also spotted filming scenes for the USA series in his signature black hoodie that day alongside the show’s creator Sam Esmail.

Rami recently opened up about the pressure of having a show that opened with big success in season one.

“I think that the day we wrapped the first season, I’ve been thinking about the second season and feeling like there was an immense amount of pressure. There is something scary about coming out of the gate so strong. You want to be able to retain that or improve upon it,” Rami told THR. “The only way to alleviate myself of that pressure is just to keep working, keep discovering, keep researching and go to that place every chance I could. We have a great group of people. It feels like everybody came back with that mind-set that said, ‘not only can we do as good a job, we can do better.’”

The 35-year-old actor spoke on a panel alongside his co-stars Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday and Carly Chaikin at the event.

During the panel, Rami said he was drawn to the show because it was “powerful,” and there was “so much substance to the characters.”

It was just announced that the upcoming season of USA’s hit show Mr. Robot is set to premiere on the network on July 13th, as revealed in a teaser shared by Entertainment Weekly.

“We have other battles to fight,” Mr. Robot ominously says in the teaser.

The second season of the Golden Globe-winning show will get a 10 episode run.

The new season will feature stars Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin and Christian Slater as well as some new faces including Joey Bada$$ and Grace Gummer.
