Ne-Yo is going to be a dad again!

The 41-year-old musician took to Instagram on Sunday (February 21) to announce that he and wife Crystal Renay are going to have another baby.

“Overjoyed to announce……the family is expanding…👶🏽! #Number5❤️ #5thandFinal #BlessingsOnBlessings🙏🏾 @itscrystalsmith 🥰🥰🥰 You ready baby? Let’s go!” Ne-Yo wrote along with a video of he and Crystal in their bathroom. In the video, Crystal poses in just a pair of underwear in front of a mirror while Ne-Yo covers her breasts with one arm and caresses her growing baby bump with the other.

This will be the couple’s third child together, and Ne-Yo‘s fifth. Ne-Yo and Crystal are already parents to sons Roman Alexander-Raj, 2½, and Shaffer Chimere Jr., 5. Ne-Yo is also dad to son Mason Evan, 9, and daughter Madilyn Grace, 10, from his previous relationship.

The couple, who have been married since 2016, briefly split in early 2020, but reconciled a few months later.

Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal Renay are divorcing.

“It’s slowly but surely becoming public knowledge that myself and my wife have decided to go ahead and get a divorce,” the 40-year-old entertainer said on an episode of the Private Talk With Alexis Texas podcast. “It’s not a sad thing, it’s more of a us realizing- long story short, I’m never gonna talk bad about her. I’m not that person. There’s nothing bad to say about her. She’s a fantastic woman. She’s the mother of my children and she’s always gonna be that and I will always respect her.”

“Long story short, she’s got demons just like everybody else, just like me,” he continued. “We realize that our demons don’t mesh and until both of us get a hold of our personal demons, it’s gonna be just difficult for us to stay married. With that being said, that’s that, that’s the end of that chapter, not the end of the book. Like I said, that’s the mother of my kids and I love her to death. We’re going to be family forever.”

The couple married in 2016. They have two kids: Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr., born in March of 2016 and Roman Alexander-Raj Smith, born in 2018.

“We are so excited!” the 28-year-old businesswoman told E! News of her pregnancy. “This definitely wasn’t in the plan and we weren’t trying at all!”

“This gender reveal party is going to be epic,” the couple added. “We have had names for our angels since before Shaffer Jr. was born so, yes, we are all set on baby names.”

“Actually I haven’t really been sick at all but the cravings are real! All I want are raw oysters and steak! Which since becoming vegan has totally messed up my diet but as long as our miracle gets the nutrition it needs I will eat all the meat in the world!” she added.

The pair are already parents to an adorable son named Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr., who was born last May.

Ne-Yo and Crystal Renay have tied the knot, People reports.

The 36-year-old singer and his model partner were married in a ceremony held at Terranea Resort on Saturday (February 20) in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

“We can’t wait to start our life together,” Ne-Yo told the mag. “We’re looking forward to just being each others’ best friend.”

He added, “I kind of knew right away. From that first encounter, I knew there was something different about her, something special.”

Crystal is nine months pregnant with the couple’s first child together.
